Five platform types are operationally proven at volumes of hundreds of thousands per month. Together they cover the full altitude profile from 0 to over 16,000 ft.
| Type | Altitude | Speed | Cost |
|---|---|---|---|
| FPV Kamikaze | 7 – 500 ft | 80–150 km/h | $200 – $1,000 |
| Commercial quadcopter | 0 – 1,640 ft | 60–90 km/h | $500 – $2,500 |
| Lancet-1 / -3 | 200 – 9,840 ft | 110 km/h · dive 300 km/h | $5,000 – $15,000 |
| Shahed-136 / Geran-2 | 200 – 13,120 ft | ~180 km/h | $20,000 – $70,000 |
| Orlan-10 | 1,640 – 16,400 ft | ~150 km/h | $30,000 – $50,000 |
The lowest, cheapest types (FPV, COTS) are simultaneously the hardest to detect: small radar cross-section, low altitude, short reaction time for the defender.
For analysts: the reference library (Chapter 10.1) now includes more than a dozen platform cards, including lesser-known but operationally relevant systems such as Geran-3, Molniya-2, Garpiya-A1 (a common confusable with the Shahed), ZALA Z-16, Orion/Inokhodets, Forpost-R and SuperCam S350.
