§8.2 Incident analysis & the CZIB framework

Not every drone incident is a deliberate attack — and that is exactly the point.

Open §8.2 in the academy

The ICAO/EASA conflict-zone framework (reference card) explicitly states that the risk of misidentification, indirect fire and debris is generally greater than that of deliberate engagement. For an analyst, this means a drone sighting must always be weighed against multiple explanations before a judgment on intent is made.

QuestionWhy
Is this aimed at us, or transiting?See Chapter 3.3 — non-targeted threats are still risky
Is this confirmed attribution, or a working hypothesis?Several precedents from Chapter 5.1 still lack formal attribution
